VISA FOR CANADA

U.S. citizen or permanent residents do not need a visa to enter Canada for business or tourism, and may stay for up to 6 months.

The followings are the requirements for applicant who wishes to apply for a visa to enter Canada:

  1. ACTUAL PASSPORT

    You must send your actual passport. The visa will be stamped on a page in your passport. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity left beyond your intended stay, and must have at least 2 blank visa pages side by side. Amendment pages do not count.

  4. TWO PHOTOGRAPHS

    Each applicant should submit two color photographs. Photos must meet the specifications as required by the Consulate of Canada.

  5. ORIGINAL PROOF OF U.S. STATUS

    Original Notice of Action issued from the U.S.C.I.S., or original U.S. visa with original I-94 to prove your U.S. status. Holders of U.S. F-1 visa must provide original F-1 visa along with signed I-20.

  6. FLIGHT ITINERARY

    Provide a copy of flight itinerary or round trip tickets, or letter of invitation from relatives in Canada if you are going to stay with them.

  7. HOTEL CONFIRMATION

    Provide confirmation from the hotel you are staying at while in Canada.

  8. PROOF OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

    Copy of the latest three bank statements or pay stubs.

  9. PROOF OF HEALTH INSURANCE

    Provide proof of health insurance that covers your stay in Canada.

  10. BUSINESS LETTER (For Business only)

    For business visit, provide a business letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

  11. CONSULATE FEE

    $75.00 per visa - Single Entry
    $150.00 per visa - Multiple Entry

    Consulate fee and processing time vary according to nationality. Consulate of Canada reserves the right to request additional information or personal interview before a visa can be issued.

  12. SERVICE FEE

    $75.00 per visa - 6 business day processing
    $100.00 per visa - 3 business day processing

  13. RETURN FEDEX EXPRESS

    $23.00 per address (up to 3 passports)
    $28.00 per address (4 to 6 passports)
    $35.00 per address (Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico or Saturday Delivery)
