VISA FOR BOLIVIA

  1. ACTUAL PASSPORT

    You must send your actual passport. The visa will be stamped on a page in your passport. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity left beyond your intended stay, and must have at least 2 blank visa pages side by side. Amendment pages (pages 22, 23 and 24) do not count.

  4. PHOTOGRAPH

    Each applicant should submit one color photograph. Photograph should be 2" x 2" in size, taken against a plain white background. Snapshot or computer picture will not be accepted.

  5. FLIGHT ITINERARY

    Provide a copy of flight itinerary or copy of round trip tickets.

  6. PROOF OF LODGING

    Provide a copy of hotel confirmation. If staying with friends or relatives in Bolivia, provide a letter of invitation and copy of I.D. from the inviting parties in Bolivia.

  7. VACCINATION FOR YELLOW FEVER

    International certificate of vaccination for yellow fever (except for minors under 6 years of age).

  8. PROOF OF SUFFICIENT FUND (For Tourism only)

    Provide a copy of recent bank statement.

  9. PROOF OF U.S. STATUS (For non-U.S. citizen only)

    Non-U.S. citizen should submit proof of U.S. status (e.g. photocopy of U.S. permanent resident card or photocopy of U.S. visa.)

  10. BUSINESS LETTER (For Business only)

    Provide a business letter on company letterhead giving details of the nature of visit, including the dates of stay, hotel information and addresses, organization to be visited and a financial guarantee from the company, signed by a senior manager.

  11. CONSULATE FEE

    $135.00 per visa - Tourist
    $85.00 per visa - Business

    Regular processing takes approximately 7 business days. 24 hour processing available for an additional $30.00 per visa to the consulate.

    Visa for Bolivia is usually valid for 5 years, up to 3 entries per year, up to 90 days per entry.
