VISA FOR BAHAMAS

U.S. passport holders and U.S. permanent residents do not need a visa for Bahamas for business or tourism, and may stay for up to 30 days.

Non U.S. citizen or residents who wish to visit Bahamas, the followings are the requirements for obtaining a visa:

  1. ACTUAL PASSPORT

    You must send your actual passport. The visa will be stamped on a page in your passport. Your passport must have at least 6 months of validity left beyond your intended stay, and must have at least TWO blank visa pages side by side. Amendment pages do not count.

  3. PHOTOGRAPH

    Each applicant should submit one 2" x 2" color photograph. Photo must be with a plain white background.

  4. ITINERARY

    Confirmed Itinerary or copies of your round trip air tickets is required.

  5. PROOF OF U.S. STATUS

    Photocopy of valid U.S. visa.

  6. BUSINESS LETTER (For Business only)

    Applicants applying for a business visa should submit a business letter from the U.S. based company explaining the purpose of the visit.

  7. EMBASSY FEE

    $55.00 per visa - For most nationalities

  8. SERVICE FEE

    $50.00 per visa

    Processing time usually takes 4 business days. In some cases, application may be referred for approval and may take 3 weeks to process. Processing time commences from the day the application submitted to the embassy. Saturdays, Sundays and consulate scheduled holidays do not count as processing days.

  9. RETURN FEDEX EXPRESS

    $23.00 per address (up to 3 passports)
    $28.00 per address (4 to 6 passports)
    $35.00 per address (Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico or Saturday Delivery)
